Event Managers Network - Fundraising, Fetes & Community Festivals

TUESDAY 29th September 2020 - The Brisbane Club, 241 Adelaide Street, Brisbane.

A panel discussion on how to create exceptional experiences with "for purpose" events. Registrations will open soon.

One of the toughest hit areas in events are "for purpose" events, events that are designed to not only provide an exceptional guest experience, but to drive a deeper objective such as raise much needed funds for a cause, drive the annual revenue generator for the year, or bring together a community to celebrate and share.  These often complex, challenging and highly rewarding events are still missing from standard COVID Safe Plans.  Here we bring together a panel of highly experienced producers to help you navigate the rules and ideas that will give you the tools and confidence to bring your event to life.

Event Managers Networking Event 2020

Tuesday 14th July 2020 - Pat Rafter Arena

Thanks to our sponsors Australian Catering Services (ACS), Conference Online and Red Lanyard the next Event Managers Network event will be a free event to showcase Pat Rafter Arena and the River Terrace Room. Join us at this free event to connect with those who work in the event industry, either as a producer, supplier, trainer or customer, and to meet others who maybe hang out in events. We also wish to welcome anyone who produces events as a part of their job, or is studying events. There really is no criteria other than a willingness to learn from others and share your knowledge.

This event was livestreamed - click here to watch the event.

We're working on bringing together an informative panel facilitated by an exceptional speaker where the discussion will be around "Lessons from...". It promises to be fascinating and I guarantee you will come away with 1 or 2, of not more, new ideas.

The event is free to all attendees and everyone will receive a welcome drink on arrival with a selection of catering delights that ACS want us to taste! There will be a cash bar available.

Bring plenty of business cards to network like a boss! and I look forward to meeting you, experiencing the delights of Australian Catering Services, overlooking the stunning Pat Rafter Arena.

Event Update

Federal Government Ruling and how it Affects our Events

Due to unprecedented times in our history unfortunately all Event Manager Network events are currently postponed until further notice. I recommend following the Australian Government information in relation to changes and updates to the rules around the production of events from 100 to more than 500 people.  Information can be found at https://www.pm.gov.au/media/update-coronavirus-measures.

If you need support or assistance during this time, please don't hesitate to reach out to me via the contact form.
